China Tobacco International (HK) Company Limited ("CTIHK") was incorporated in Hong Kong in February 2004 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in June 2019. Within China National Tobacco Corporation (“CNTC”) Group, CTIHK is currently the sole listed entity mainly carrying out tobacco business. CTIHK has also become a constituent stock of indexes such as the Hang Seng Composite Index, Hang Seng Consumer Goods & Services Index, MSCI Hong Kong-Listed Southbound + China A IMI Index. 

Since its listing, CTIHK has focused on expanding its international market, continuously tapping into market potential, and striving to enhance the scale and quality of business development. It has concentrated on corporate governance, continuously promoted board diversity, and constantly improved its corporate governance and risk management systems. Focusing on the realization of social value, it has continuously improved shareholder returns and systematically aligned with international standards to develop an ESG system. Currently, CTIHK’s business scopes cover new tobacco products, cigarettes, tobacco leaf products, cigars, and other categories, with markets covering more than 50 countries and regions in East Asia, Southeast Asia, North and South America, Central and Eastern Europe. It operates over 20 brands of new tobacco products, 35 cigarette brands, and 35 SKUs of cigar.

In 2021, CTIHK acquired China Tabaco Internacional Do Brasil Ltda.(“CTIB”) and effectively holds a controlling stake in its subsidiary, China Brasil Tabacos Exportadora S.A. (“CBT”). CBT carries out tobacco leaf production, purchasing, processing, sales, and export business in the core tobacco-producing regions of Brazil. With over 20,000 contracted farmers, CBT purchases more than 60,000 tons of raw tobacco leaves annually and has a wide range of markets and customers.

In November 2021, CTIHK acquired China Tabaco Internacional Do Brasil Ltda. (“CTIB”) and its subsidiary, pioneering a new paradigm of overseas resources integration and collaborative development of the entire industry chain for China National Tobacco Corporation (“CNTC”).

In December 2020, CTIHK was included in indexes such as the MSCI Hong Kong-Listed Southbound Index, MSCI Hong Kong-Listed Southbound + China A IMI Index, and MSCI China SMID Cap Index.

In June 2019, CTIHK was successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange with over 100 times subscription, raising over HK$900 million. In September 2019, CTIHK was included in the Hang Seng Composite Index, Hang Seng Consumer Goods & Services Index, and became eligible for trading under the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect Program.
