Our tobacco leaf business sources various types of tobacco leaf products from major global tobacco-producing regions and sells them to the global market.
Within this business, we exclusively purchase tobacco leaf products from Chinese Mainland and overseas entities under China Tobacco for sales in the Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan markets, as well as exclusively purchase tobacco leaf products from major global tobacco-producing regions for sales in the Chinese Mainland market.
Cigarettes Business
Our cigarettes business sources cigarettes products from cigarettes manufacturing companies under China Tobacco and distributes them to the global market (excluding Chinese Mainland) as well as duty-free outlet within the borders, but outside the customs area of Chinese Mainland.
In this business segment, we exclusively sell cigarette products to duty-free stores in Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, and those within the borders, but outside the customs area of Chinese Mainland.
New Tobacco Products Business
Our new tobacco products business sources new tobacco products from cigarettes manufacturing companies under China Tobacco and exclusively distributes them to the global market (excluding Chinese Mainland). Currently, our new tobacco products mainly include heat-not-burn tobacco products.
Heat-not-burn tobacco products (HNB), also known as heating stick, heated tobacco products (HTPs), or heat-not-burn cigarettes, are characterized by using an external heat source to heat the tobacco without burning it and this process releases nicotine aerosols, promoting the development of tobacco products towards harm reduction.
