Green Office Initiative - "Green Pulsation"

To align with our green development strategy, we are actively implementing the "Green Pulsation" initiative across our offices, designed to advance sustainability through a series of eco-friendly measures. This initiative includes organizing red envelope recycling campaigns after Chinese New Year; displaying "Save Water" and "Save Paper" prompts at sinks and copy rooms; and leveraging our ERP system to advance paperless operations.

Social Responsibility Action Plan

To enhance employee well-being, strengthen community ties, and foster a positive corporate image, we have launched a Social Responsibility Action Plan centered around "Three Pillars": CBT Connect, CBT Doing Good, and CBT Transform. This action plan includes, but is not limited to, procuring advanced equipment for Brazilian employees, optimizing their work environment, and donating books to public school students and aid to disaster-struck areas through our volunteer group.

Environmental Responsibility Action Plan

To enhance employees' environmental awareness and commit to green, low-carbon, energy conservation, and emission reduction efforts, we have launched an Environmental Responsibility Action Plan centered around “Two Directions” : Sustainable Impact and Transforming the Future. This action plan includes, but not limited to, compiling annual greenhouse gas emission inventories; recycling empty chemical containers; promoting reforestation to enhance carbon sequestration and control land degradation; and establishing agricultural school programs to foster eco-conscious behaviors.

The first collection of Scope 3 GHG emissions

In 2023, we commissioned an external professional measurement agency to conduct, for the first time, a statistical and accounting of Scope 3 GHG emissions based on the standards of the international accounting tool, the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. By tracing emissions upstream (waste disposal, employee commuting) and downstream (product distribution), we have significantly expanded the scope of greenhouse gas emission investigation and improved the completeness of emission data statistics. We believe collection of scope 3 GHG emissions would lay a solid foundation for us to formulate customized emission reduction measures in the future and promote green and low-carbon operations.
